Around 10:30PM, Truck 63 and Engine 63-2 were dispatched on the initial assignment for a Dwelling Fire in the 1900 Block of Pine Drive (Company 62’s District).
The homeowner reported a chimney fire that had extended into the walls of the dwelling.
Truck 63 arrived to check the attic for extension and went to the roof to prepare for vertical ventilation, which wasn’t needed.
Engine 63-2 established the secondary water supply and staged after laying into the scene.
Crews worked the incident for approximately 2 hours before clearing.
