Today, Companies 63, 62 (Witmer Fire Protective Association), and 54 (Lampeter Fire Company No. 1) traveled to the West Chester Fire Department Training Center for a Class A Live Burn Training. At this training, numerous firefighters through the ranks refresh on their skills and become more competent in them. This training is about the realest fire suppression training we could offer to our members. We typically do this burn in the spring and fall and invite all of our mutual aid companies. However, for our spring burn we decided to work closely with our neighboring mutual aid companies.
Thank you Bareville Fire Company and Martindale Volunteer Fire Company Station 3 for covering our quarters while we were training.
Also a big thank you to the WCFDTC for the usage of the facility.
