In 2021, LFC was the 7th busiest 100% Volunteer Fire Company across Lancaster County. Truck 63 is the 2nd busiest all volunteer Truck Company county-wide, Squad 63-1 was the busiest Squad unit across the county, and Engine 63-1 was the 7th busiest volunteer engine company.
With population and developments growing, the demand of our volunteers rises everyday and year. Answer the call for thy fellow neighbor today!
The LFC provides the listed services but not limited to fire suppression, rescue services, foam response county-wide, emergency medical, fire police, etc.
Who do we need?
Members of our community to ride our fire trucks and answer the call for help! Firefighters are ultimately the answer to the call for help. Not sure how to get started? We’ll train and equip you and show you the ropes!
Not local, but looking to serve at a fast paced and progressive organization? Duty Crew Firefighters have no residency requirements and can live wherever, while serving the company on “shifts”. A duty crew member is needed for 8 hours a month, at least. However, you dictate when those 8 hours are spent in station.
If you are a high school student ages 14-17, become a Junior Firefighter! These members ride the fire apparatus and provide exterior services on the fire ground. Junior members take advantage of the time they serve as a Junior to prep for their service as Interior Firefighters at the age of 18.
Ever wonder who puts up the cones up around an incident or blocks the road to keep emergency responders safe while they work to serve our community? Fire Police Officers are responsible for making your drive home from work miserable. However, they hold one of the most important jobs on the streets. We cannot effectively serve our community without remaining safe while doing so. Help out our Fire Police Division led by FP Captain Pedro Urena.
Do you like mowing the grass or cleaning at home? Come mow our grass and help us clean our station! Its another home of ours that we take care of! The LFC is 100% responsible for maintaining our property and facility. We could use your help!
Are you good at organizing, file keeping, etc? We could use your help on our administrative team! Someone has to pay the bills for our organization, otherwise our doors wouldn’t stay open for service.
