At approximately 10:00AM, Engine 63-2 was dispatched as part of the First Alarm Assignment to the first block of Blueberry Circle in West Lampeter Township for a Reported Dwelling Fire.
First Arriving units found a burnt up light fixture in a bathroom with a smoke condition in the dwelling. Crews secured power to the light fixture and checked for extension.
Senior FF Sutton, being the smallest, made access to the attic to check for burned material above the bathroom ceiling.
Engine 63-2 and its crew assisted Lampeter Fire Company No. 1 for close to an hour before returning to service.
Truck Company 204 (Manheim Township Fire Rescue) covered a Fire Alarm Activation on Colonial Village Lane while the engine operated on the Lampeter Box.
