In 2021-2022, we served the homeless, we rescued cats from trees, rescued dogs from a fire, rescued lives, saved property, partnered with other non-profits & first responder organizations, helped community members to celebrate new lives and those lost too soon, participated in countless fire prevention community activities, held our Cadet Camp for youth, and we saved our neighbors valuable funds by providing all of these services with 100% volunteer staffing.
May the lives of many be just a bit easier because of the sacrifices of our volunteer members.
We recently heard a video for a local organization that usually tops the Extra Give leaderboard mention their goal of 2400+ unique donors and $500K+ fundraising goal. Where to catch up with Lafayette during the Extra Give:
5:30am-10am: Lafayette Fire Company partners with Lancaster EMS for Long John order pickup and donor drive-thru at Lafayette Fire Company, 63 Lafayette Way, Lancaster, PA 17602
7:30-8:30am: Cylo, the Lancaster Barnstormers mascot visits Lafayette and Lancaster EMS
11am-1pm: Volunteers will walk the local neighborhoods and stop by Tanger Outlets to thank them for their support.
3-6pm: Throughout the day, spot the Mack fire engine in our local area of coverage or come visit Greenfield Lancaster and the S. Dale High Leadership Center for a special Extraordinary Fire Engine experience (3-6pm)!
All proceeds earned from the Extra Give will go towards buying hose line, radios, personal protective equipment and to bolster our volunteer morale!
