American Red Cross Smoke Detector Program

The Lafayette Fire Company in partnership with the American Red Cross is teaming up to make sure that the community that we serve is educated about fire safety and the role that smoke detectors play in saving lives. Lafayette partnering with the American Red Cross allows you to ask for a voluntary needs assessment provided by volunteers. Based on that assessment, you may qualify for those volunteers to install smoke detectors free of charge in your residence.
