Just before 5:00PM, Company 63 and Mutual Aid were dispatched to Mill Creek Square for a reported Commercial Building Fire at Christmas Tree Shops. 9-1-1 callers reported a Trash Compactor on fire to the rear of the store and a smoke condition in the building.
First arriving units found a trash compactor that had overheated from built up debris on the motor. There was a slight smoke condition in the
building but the building wasn’t damaged.
The incident was cleared within an hour.
