Cats in trees? How about a parrot?
Around 8:30 AM the LFC received a call from local resident, Julia, asking for our help to rescue her parrot, Sonny, from a large tree on the property.
The address is on a former farm property along Millstream Road. It took some skilled maneuvering around some outbuildings and fence rows to get our 95’ ladder tower into position, but once set, Lt. Whispell was able to position the bucket and retrieve Sonny.
Thankfully, Sonny was unharmed and returned to Julia without further incident. Animal rescues are all part of the business. We are thankful for the opportunity to assist.
