Around 4:00PM this afternoon, Companies 63, 62 (Witmer), and 48 (Ronks) were dispatched to Lincoln Highway East and Greenland Drive for a Vehicle Accident reported with Entrapment. Callers reported a 2 car accident with an occupant trapped in one vehicle.
Captain 63-2 (Fassnacht) was first arriving and confirmed the report of one trapped.
Engine 63-1 began a side removal of one vehicle to free the trapped occupant. Engine 62-1, Squad 62-1, Squad 63-1, and Rescue 48 assisted with the extrication and a dash roll.
Squads 63-2, 62-1, and 41-2 diverted traffic around the scene while crews worked the incident.
