Details:
Jan Fassnacht was not only an amazing volunteer with our fire company, but also served with local EMS agencies and with the East Lampeter Township Police Department. His legacy lives on in our Fire Company and our community through his wife, Coral, an associate member of Lafayette and his two sons, Alec & Brett, who serve as firefighters as well as his niece & associate member, Kari. Help us remember the life of a great community servant, raise valuable cancer prevention funds to protect our current volunteers and consider following Jan's lead and join the Lafayette team.

All proceeds benefit the Lafayette Fire Company Cancer Prevention Initiatives. Those initiatives include the purchase and installation of a Gear Extractor (Commercial size washer), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Decontamination supplies, and maintenance of existing equipment such as the Plymovent exhaust removal system in the firehouse. Firefighters are at an increased risk of cancer due to the carcinogen exposures that exist in the field and through equipment worn. Lafayette applies for grants to assist in the purchase and upkeep of many of these items, but with rising costs, every little bit helps take care of the most valuable asset: The Lafayette Volunteer.
Thank you for your support. Happy Fasnacht Day!
