Engine Company 3 was established in 1969, disbanded in 1993 and re-established in 2003 and disbanded once again in 2017.
The original Engine #3 was a 1969 Ford/Hahn with a 1000 GPM pump, 1000 Gallon water tank and a 150 pound Dry Chemical System. This rig ran until 1993 when it was retired and sold to the Oxidental Petroleum Company in Florida
The second unit for Engine Co. #3 was a 2003 Pierce Quantum. This rig boasted a 2250 GPM Hale pump, 500 gallon water tank and 80 gallon foam cell. With 11 preconnected handlines this rig was set-up to move big water. This rig served until 2017 when it was sold to the Kenova WV Fire Dept.
