This afternoon, Engine and Squad 63-1 worked a Spill Control Incident in the 1900 Block of Old Philadelphia Pike in the district.
Chief 63 came across a diesel spill in his travels and traced it back to a pump at the local 7-Eleven/Sunoco service station.
A motorist left the spill on the parking lot and roadway, which spread further from vehicles driving through the fuel.
HazMat 2 Environmental Fire Rescue Company assisted with the clean up.
