The members of the Lafayette Fire Company extend our deepest condolences to the Lampeter Fire Company No. 1, the Henry family, and the entire Lampeter community on the passing of Fire Chief Emeritus Lloyd E. Henry.
Chief Henry’s legacy of service, leadership, and dedication to the fire service is truly remarkable. Eight decades of commitment is a testament not only to his love for the fire company, but to his unwavering belief in service above self. His impact will be felt for generations—through the organization he helped shape, the firefighters he mentored, and the community he faithfully served.
We stand with our brothers and sisters at Lampeter during this difficult time and honor Chief Henry’s lifelong devotion to the fire service. His example of integrity, teamwork, and quiet leadership is one we should all strive to follow.
Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with Chief Henry’s family, friends, and fellow firefighters as you mourn this tremendous loss and celebrate a life so well lived.
Rest easy, Chief. Your watch is complete. 🚒🕊️
