Just before 10:00AM, the Engine and Squad were dispatched with EMS to a Vehicle Accident at a dwelling along Strasburg Pike in the run district. Upon arrival, units found a vehicle that had rolled from a driveway to the top of a bank over the Mill Creek with a patient inside of it. The patients legs were out of the vehicle, which became trapped between the car and a rock on the bank.
Engine 63-1 deployed a winch cable and rigged the vehicle to pull it back a few feet to free the patient and stabilize it from rolling any further. The crew cleared brush around the vehicle to make access easier.
The patient was freed in about 15 minutes.
