Just after 8:00PM this evening, the tones were struck for Companies 63 and 62 (Witmer) to respond to a vehicle fire in the 2200 Block of Lincoln Highway East. Multiple 9-1-1 callers reported a vehicle fire in the administrative parking lot of Dutch Wonderland Amusement Park.
Upon the arrival of Chief 63, it was determined to be a audio system on fire in the trunk of the vehicle.
Crew members extinguished the fire, depowered the unit, and removed it from the vehicle.
Units worked the incident for about 30 minutes before returning to service.
