Fasnacht Day not only is a unique PA Dutch Tradition popular in Lancaster, PA, but it is also an opportunity for Lafayette Fire Company to remember and recognize the Fassnacht Family that serves our Fire Company. Our late member, Jan Fassnacht, a true community servant who served as an EMS provider, East Lampeter Township police officer and volunteered at Lafayette Fire Company more than 30 years ago. Please help us pay tribute to our finest and bravest with this special family tradition. All proceeds benefit the Lafayette Fire Company Firefighters and will be earmarked for our cancer prevention initiatives, as firefighters have an increased risk of cancer diagnosis.
One Dozen Powdered (6) and Glazed Fasnachts (6), a donut like pastry sourced from Bird in Hand Bakery, available for pre-order & drive thru pickup at Lafayette Fire Company, Monday, February 16th, 2026 5-7pm & Tuesday, February 17th, 2026 5:30am-9am. Options available for ordering.
Because we preorder these from the Bird-in-Hand Bakery there will be a VERY limited supply of fasnachts available for purchase the day of the event so please pre-order if possible.
