Just before 7am this morning, Co. 63 and EMS were sent to the 1400 block of E. King St. in Lancaster Twp. for a reported crash with entrapment. Rescue/Engine 631 arrived to find a vehicle into a utility pole and on its side with 1 trapped. As the crews began extrication Chief Nolt requested Lancaster City Rescue/Engine 3 to assist with a 2nd set of tools. Crews from 63 and City Fire worked for about 15 minutes to remove the patient from the vehicle. Units were on scene for about 1 hour. During this time, Tower 63 handled an EMS assist for forced entry call as well.
