Just after 4pm today, the first alarm with units from 63, 410 (Witmer), 41 (Bird in Hand), 48 (Ronks), and 24 (Eden) were sent to building 7 at Country Club Estates on Aaron Ln. for a reported building fire. Responding units were advised of a kitchen fire. Engine 633 was first arriving and was met by an ELTPD officer reporting that the sprinklers had the fire knocked down. The engine crew ran a handline and quickly confirmed the report. The box was downgraded to the 63 units and Engine 411 whose crews had to deploy several salvage covers to prevent water damage from the activated sprinkler heads. Units were on scene for about 1 hour.
